FAQ

1. How do I know what size unit I will need?
At Snow Valley Self Storage, all you need do is answer a few simple questions and one of our friendly knowledgeable staff will be happy to help ascertain what size unit you will require. Our Unit Sizes page can also be useful.

2. What are the requirements (Do I need a credit card?)
We ask that you provide a valid mailing address as well as a phone number. We also require the first months rent upon signing the rental contract. We accept E-Transfers, Debit, Visa, Master Card, Cheques or old-fashioned cash.

4. When signing the lease do we have to commit to a specified amount of time?
Our lease agreements are on a monthly basis. We have a minimum 1 month rental.

The rental due date is the same date that you signed the original contract. For example, if you signed the contract on May 15 then your next payment is due on June 15.

We provide a gate access card that will allow you access from 5:00am to 11:00pm seven days a week. (There is a $20.00 refundable deposit for the card).

The only other cost involved with a new contract is a one-time $10.00 administration fee on all new accounts.

8. What about security?

9. What do I do about insurance?
Renting a storage facility is similar to renting a home. Contents are not covered by us. Most Homeowners policies cover belongings while in storage, or your agent will write you a binder while your goods are in storage. Check with your agent to be sure.
